Ravyn Lenae is opening a new era with Blue Island. The Chicago R&B singer has updated her official website with the album title, cover art, and a pre-order link, while Pitchfork reports that the project will arrive August 7 via Atlantic.

The rollout also includes 'Handle,' a new single that appears on Lenae's official site with a video preview. The track adds another chapter to the airy, forward-looking sound that has defined her recent work.

Blue Island follows 2024's Bird's Eye and marks Lenae's third full-length release. With the pre-order live and the release date now set, the album is quickly becoming one of the more closely watched R&B releases of the summer.
